Shrewsbury needs you, to light up Christmas!

This year AL Marketing created and ran a fantastic competition in which followers of Shrewsbury Shopping’s social media channels were invited to nominate an individual who they believed deserved the honour of turning on the iconic Darwin and Pride Hill Christmas Lights.



Through strategic social media boosting and prize incentives, the competition received exceptional levels of engagement – attaining 717 reactions, 254 likes, 3,151 post clicks and a reach of over 10,000 users.

In addition to this fabulous community-lead incentive, we also sent our social media team to document the activities taking place throughout the evening and meet with the winner and her family.
